ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental – New packaging design

A FRESH DESIGN FOR GOOD ORAL HEALTH

ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental contains 100% natural, active seaweed A.N ProDen®. Providing an easy and effective way to reduce plaque and tartar and promote a healthier and more radiant smile.

This packaging design project aimed to redesign Swedencare’s ProDen PlaqueOff® Teeth and Gums packaging. The new packaging design aims to improve the attractiveness and better communicate the product’s benefits. We launched the new product name – ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental, together with a new packaging design – light blue, a new stamp and a thin silver foil line to make the product stand out.

DESIGN PROCESS – DENTAL BLUE; SEAWEED AND ORAL HEALTH

We worked with different creative routes and proposals for the new packaging design. The chosen packaging design route has a clean and attractive dental light blue, silver foil lining, with a balanced combination of the stamp to communicate the 100% natural seaweed ingredient and the benefits for improving good oral health.

THE DESIGN IDEA BEHIND THE STAMP

The product contains the patented formula A.N ProDen®, which prompted us to create a quality stamp to lift and visualise its benefits. The stamp is formed by a tooth and seaweed illustration surrounded by messaging in a neat typography.

A DESIGN WITH AN AIR OF THE FRESH NORTH SEA

The new, light blue colour communicates a fresh breath, which connects well to the origin of the specific seaweed harvested from the North Atlantic coast. The silver foil communicates the quality and shine of a clean smile. A clean, clear, attractive label communicates the dental benefits and promotes oral health.

GO DENTAL WITH A NEW PRODUCT NAME

The product name was changed from ProDen PlaqueOff® Teeth & Gums to ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental to communicate better and clarify the product’s benefits. A new typeface for the product name has a refreshed look and supports the product’s dental position.

In the design process, the previously used secondary carton packaging was removed to reduce waste and create a more streamlined result. The new packaging design has been launched online and offline in Europe and the UK.
